today was good, I woke up nice and early, and we headed out to the prague castle. this place is pretty cool. it feels like an actual midieval aged city that has become modernized... not like the other cities I've been to. I think a lot of that has to do with the lack of bombing and fighting that happened in every other city during the world wars.

Tycho Brahe: Astronomer, noted asshole in history (from what I remember) and lived on a small island in the straight between Sweden and Denmark (near Hamlet's castle or in that general vicinity).

true, but he did a substantial amount of his work in prague. prague used to be big on astrology; there are astromony clocks in numerous places, dating back to the 16th century. it's pretty cool looking, I'll show you a pic of one when I get back.
