I may or may not have done a fist pump when I checked the kink meme's inbox to see that you'd completed this one. I'm an angst whore and you get into their heads with the emotions and insecurities in the best ways, and it was no exception here with Bones' pain and his sense of loss before he'd even lost anything. And as a fellow over-thinker about the most ridiculous of things, I really did ache with him.

And then the mind-blowingly hot sex at the end. Nnnf. Yes, please. I'd been craving some bottom!Bones so this was like the perfect ending.

The prompt was so much fun because everyone with a tendency to overthink things (like me) can so easily relate to how Leonard gets worked up about the whole thing.

This was absolutely incredible. I loved the angst (even better because it was resolved at the end) and the way that write Bones with all of his insecurities just makes me jealous!! Normally I'm not a fan of bottom!Bones but the sex was lovely as well!

What I love most about this fic is that is tackles those awkward insecurities we all have. I know everybody who reads this fic is going to connect with Leonard on how something so seemingly small and insignificant can blow out of proportion. I really liked reading the progression from the initial "WTF embarassment" moment through the divorce and all of Len's other insecurities coming into play.

Also loved that it was Uhura who finally came to Bones to shed some light on Jim's attitude. I wish Uhura had been a bit more...bitchy? More authoritative, perhaps. That's more of a personal preference for me, though. I liked your Uhura.

I'm really thrilled that you enjoyed the story's progress, and the way Bones worked himself up about his insecurities.
I kinda agree about Uhura, but I've read so many stories in which she's so über-aggressive in the way she involves herself in Jim and Bones' affairs that she comes across as super-bitchy. And since I don't have the luckiest hand writing female characters a lot of times, I tried to keep her toned down before it became too much.
