so i live in worcester massachusetts now...

if the city "worcester" is pronounced "wooster"

then why,

pray tell

isn't the city "dorchester" pronounced "dooster"?

all of my friends from the area pretend to ignore this problem. :)

theres a "ch" in dorchester.
