neither. love is, as a noun, reciprocal. it requires it to be a two-way verb.
one-way love is like adoration. not really love. with different words depending on what kind of attachment. like friend 'love' isn't what family 'love' is.
Both, because without loving someone, you are not loved, and without being loved, you do not love. Life is made fun by love and people make your fun lovely!
Isabel, on the idea of Evan's wife: "For some strange reason, when you mention his wife I get the mental image of a senile, Ukrainian woman in a headscarf." Moi: Uh, actually she's short, gray haired, fat and plain looking. Elle: Well, that's somewhat close. Elle: The senile Ukrainian woman WAS short, fat, and gray haired.
(It's about what you DO with the love you give and the love that's given to you, THAT'S what's important)

I am frequently amazed by how many things in life are circles.
