I'm aware that I've been sent cards over the Christmas period that (as yet) I have not received. barlow_girl sent me a card, which I assume was posted at the same time as the one to kari_w; Karen's arrived before Christmas and I still don't have anything.

I'm pretty sure the Card Thief has struck again, although it is possible that it's delayed in the post.

In some countries they chop off a thief's hand.

You should put a sign up in the Close to say:

"I declare this close a sub-state of Chechnya. Chop-chop justice will now be enforced. Steal a letter - lose a hand. Your choice." :)
