((((Laura)))) Okay that is freaky. While you know I don't get being a Dead Head AT ALL I do know you are very sad about Jerry's anniversary. For you I am listening to Knockin' On Heaven's Door (with the Neville Brothers) from the July 10, 1989 show at the Meadowlands (yes, I was actually there too! It is one of the tapes my former editor gave me because everyone should have a tape of their first Dead show right? LOL) Hopefully I can bring you some cheer to his anniversary day later. xoxoxoxoxoxo

So now I have listened to most of the tape of my first show. Do I dare admit I really like it? LOL Although it totally accents how F'ing STUPID i have been these past 20 years in letting men dictate my life and my music. Esp the past decade. So now that I am released from the dungeon . . . .

That song is making me cry because it is so (sadly) true. On a lighter note - I was born the same year as the Grateful Dead! LOL

The cartoon is beautiful.

Sam gave me the calligraphy piece he did of Ripple. Sam is clearing out his space and he knew I would like it. Of course, I love it.

If I knew the way I would take you home. I feel that way about so many of my friends and loved ones right now.
