So I have - once again - rocked and cuddled Maggie off to Napland, and once again, her eyes have opened the moment she hits the crib.

I can hear her singing/squawking/squealing/wailing through the monitor. As she does when she's exhausted.

My sympathies! I am only puppy-sitting this week & it gives me serious pause about having a baby! Well, at least as a single parent (not likely, clearly!) - Andy has been in sunny southern CA all week & yesterday Lil' Miss guest puppy thought it was a good idea to pee & poop in the house on multiple occasions. I hope that you get some good breaks w/ Tim taking over - and I hope that for myself when/if Andy & I have kids, b/c otherwise, I will find myself a hot mess too!
Prayers for a sleepy & sleeping baby tonight & more often in the future!
