Crap. It's 4:24 AM here in Waukesha, WI. I have to get up soon to go catch our flight back to NYC, and sleep has left me. Do you like paper books or e-readers?
that's the prompt for today: paper books vs. e-readers...
I do not own an e-reader although my phone has e-reader software, and I did read the uber-long "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" on my iphone during my April vacation.
That said, in many respects I prefer paper books. They have a better feel, they have a smell; there is just a better sensory ( Read more... ) -

I really do have some random desire to have a writing outlet. I swear, even though I don't always enjoy the writing I have to do for my job. Khaos - Kitty # 3
Khaos is a cuddler. She's the most cuddly of all our cats, and in the least annoying way. She likes to curl up on the bed with us at night. Sometimes she'll come and lay across Norah & I while Norah's nursing. Tofu
Yup. Gonna talk about tofu. Because although I've been a vegetarian since 1993 (oh my. That's a long time!), I've never had much luck or interest in cooking it for myself. I've been happy to eat it out, mainly at Chinese restaurants, where they seem to have the secret of preparing it so that I really enjoyed it, a knack I was decidedly lacking. ( Read more... ) -
