Yesterday in an e-mail I identified three people by who their relationships:  She is her daughter, He is her husband, etc.  This made me think about how we develop a sense of who we are.  I wonder how much of the self is developed in relationship.  What/how much can develop apart from relating to others.  We are born dependent on at least one ( Read more... )

For the first time in I don't know how many months, I clicked on my friends page and read a few posts.  It's good to be feeling like knowing what is happening in others' lives.  It feels like thawing.

I reached the center of grief's labyrinth last week.  And what I found there was that my fear of death has disappeared.  I'm resting there for awhile before I journey back out.
