I am in a terrible funk (not to be confused with listening to 'terrific funk'), so one of my amusements has been thinking about Anywhere But Heres. However, the places I *really* love and mentally revisit are limited, so even in my fantasy life I'm thinking about trying new things

Oh, I would love to go to Hermanus in South Africa, just round the corner from Cape Town. There, you can look out of your hotel window and see the whales in the bay. I am also partial to Botswana, thanks to the 1st Ladies' Detective Agency.
