"I glimpsed the stupendous clear-cut shoulders of the Rockies from between paragraphs of Madame Bovary. Cloud shadows roved languidly across her huge rock throat, traced her fir flanks. Since those days, I do not look at hair on female flesh without thinking, Deciduous?"

I have not read it....When I took French we watched a movie version of it, but that is it. There are so many things I need to read! There was one book you mentioned before you moved...something with monkeys in the title? Confused...

hmm... monkeys are you sure thats what it was i'm looking at my books and i can't find anything with monkeys in the title. oh wait now i remember it was called sock monkey or something like that. its a wierd twisted book. i'm not sure if you would like it but it is kind of interesting. but i recently read middlesex, by jeffrey eugenides, who also wrote the wonderful virgin suicides. middlesex is about a hermaphrodite who was raised as a girl and no one not even the parents knew what she/he was, then when she/he was like 15 it was discovered. it is a kick ass book that was written beautifully you should definitely check that out.

Dude, I read Middlesex last year. It is my favorite, favorite.
If you liked Middlesex, you should read The Time-Traveler's Wife. SO AMAZING.
