Just caught this on the BBC website. Quite frightening isn't it? It was written back in the 70s. Strangely straightforward for an announcement meant to be read after a nuclear attack. I thank the gods that they haven't needed to read it. Perhaps I'll pray for this continued blessing.

Oh BBC... I wonder if they'd get similar results if they surveyed WoW players. Heaven forbid if we were get into Ragnarok Online or FFXI.

Perhaps they should expand it to tabletop gamers as well...? I'd love to see those results..

I visited the Peabody Museum this past weekend. That's the name of Yale's natural history museum. I saw strange things including live giant elephant shrews which was a first for me in a natural history museum. Most of the time, you just get dead things.

For those who are not familiar with it, yokan is a Japanese sweet based on the use of a gelling agent called agar and some sort of sweet bean paste. Sometimes they throw other things in as well. Saw this article on the BBC. It made me wonder what it would be like to sell my life online to start a new one. I imagine most people don't really get much profit out of lifestyles changes. I would wonder if that new person will fit into the place I'd have left behind me.
