Jobwatch: Day 10

Mar 02, 2006 11:34

The job I was hoping for still hasn't gotten in touch with me. In true A.M. style, I have determined that I'll not get the job, so I've stopped hoping for it. Now, I'm just mildly annoyed that they've taken so long to tell me "No."

However..

Possible good news on the job front )

I have a joint account with my husband, but I'm not really better with money than he is. I can see the problem with that -- I know A.M. would absolutely rebel if I announced that we were going semi-vegan in the interest of saving money. Even if we don't eat X on X day, we know that we have 6-7 meals that we can play around with - and then we try to have a frozen pizza in the freezer for those days when you just don't want to cook. As well, if you have a list, you don't make compulsive buys (for which I am VERY guilty of ( ... )

It's certainly something to think about. I'm afraid of making an allowance.. but I think it's not a bad idea, and certainly something to think about.
