Amen for spreadsheets. There's something about loading up excel and kicking in the values that are like consulting the oracle.

The layout of the house sounds awesome. I would kill for a basement of any size in our house. We've got more crap than we know what to do with.

Considering I have a few hundred pieces of clothing that I'd like to be able to separate from the pets (the kitten likes to pick the most delicate piece of merchandise I've selected and put clawpricks and toothholes in it) so it's safe for sale, the extra two bedrooms are a godsend. And that KITCHEN!! Really, it's huge. It's perfect.

The more I think about this house, the more I love it.

I received a response from the agency today -- they wanted to know how much of an increase I was hoping for. I asked for 15%. She said she'd contact HR and see what she can do. Here's hoping.

Love big kitchens. I don't let the wife in on it, but I'd love to become a better cook and I'm sure a nice-sized kitchen would do the trick.
