I am sitting at work, applying Windows Updates one by one, so that I can figure out which update actually fixes the issue we are having with mail merges. We just recently upgraded to Office 2007

Provided your moving doesn't happen on the 5th weekend in august, we'll gladly help (Ideally we're moving the rest of traci's crap that weekend). And if schedules work out, we'll gladly trade moving help.
Also, I have a washing machine that you can just HAVE. It's a fine washer, I just got a replacement and now it's sitting in my shed doing nothing. Yours if you want it.
I don't have the drier to match, but it was crappy anyway. And if I am able to work it, I'll gladly to a lot of manual labor when you move.
sadly it is not. But if you need one to take up space while you look for a front loader, then feel free. If not, then I'll do something with it. It's not eating a hole in my shed or anything.
Oh, and as far as exchanging labor, works for me...or rather, exchange use of my truck with me driving it for you lifting things, since me lifting things is much less useful than it used to be.
That would be awesome. I would definitely buy the hoses and sprinklers, desk, rakes and shovels. Does your lawnmower have to stay plugged in, or does it charge for use without the cord? Our backyard is pretty big, so I don't know if a corded electric mower would work.
My folks are giving me gift cards to Lowe's, but I might even be able to get them to buy the stuff from you guys for me, so that we ALL come out ahead!
Dehumidifier and freezer sound nice, too!
You and Jacob should talk about what you want to get for each item, and send me a price list via email.
The mower needs to stay plugged in we have a 100 ft cord that goes with it.
I need to talk to him about hte desk, I think no room for it. And need to check the garage for the other stuff we have there. I know we have a plastic shelf unit, 3 shelves for outdoors.
i can help too!

Lauren -
august 13-17, i'm out of town - any other day in Aug/Sept, just say the word and I'll be there to help you move/paint/etc - I may not be skilled labor, but I'm free!! Lee's got my phone # - good luck!!
I'm glad you didn't lose your job. My Mom is under the impression that the upper management "resignations" were not by choice, but of course she is painfully cynical. My Dad is the Facilities Manager now, and he seems to like that a lot, so it's a relief that it's working out well for the people at ZB that I give a shit about.
I would volunteer to help you move but kitty fur + moving dust = dead Sarah. So I will be there with you in spirit!
No dead Sarahs allowed!laurewyrmJuly 22 2008, 18:09:58 UTC
The whole switcherooni is not overwith, at least as far as I can tell. We are also going to have like 6 Sales Reps retiring in the next year or so, which will be hectic as well.
At least one of the upper managers resigned definitely by choice, since Pres. and HR were trying to talk her out of it. I think a lot of the sales stuff is because a lot of our folks are older. They are tired of trying to adapt to new things, and there are lots of new things right now.
We'll see how it all goes...I feel like there is still a chance for layoffs here, but no one is allowed to say anything if they know it anyway, so I might as well try not to worry.
Argh. That is tough thing, for me not to worry.
Also, I am glad that your dad is where he is. He is going to make the ceiling stop falling on me!

What is the difference?
I don't know much about shovels (or spades).
(or trowels)

Flat end - good for getting dirt that is above ground, in a pile. Also, moves mulch nicely, and is more like the big paddles for baking bread.
