I hate being sick. I’m prone to sinus infections. But it seems that ever since chemo/radiation whenever I get one it ends up turning into bronchitis/pneumonia. This time is no exception. I went to the doctor today for my post-partem check up. Went good - I can go back to work, no restrictions any more. Got a perscription for the pill - we all know how well that worked the last time. I love being a mommy - at least I think I do. But the sleep deprivation is driving me crazy! She sleeps OK until about 2 or 3 in the morning and then is up. Or...she doesn't go to sleep until 2 or 3 am and is up by 6. I can't keep doing this night after night. Ok - so I am like the worst journal writer there is! I haven't updated in forever. Not a whole lot going on, still pregnant, wishing the baby would just come- I'm hotter than hell! So each passing week brings more good news on the baby front - I had another Loyola ultrasound today, and all is well. Little Caitlin is already 3lbs - growing good, thank God. The once high danger of a premie baby is passing slowly. They lowered my risk to about 10-20% from about 80% so that's a relief ( Read more... )
