What a chapter!
I'm sorry but this time Jack fucked up. Period.
I know it's sad but I have to agree with Doc and I think he took the best decision. He is really a good man and a good doctor. He cares for the guys, he is offering a second chance to Jack and he knows that Ennis still needs therapy. I think that Ennis's behaviour in doc's office convinced the doctor about this!

I also agree with doc's order to Jack to undergo intensive therapy because Jack has widely demonstrated that he still has some issues to solve.
It will be hard for the guys to be separated but they have to accept doc's decision if they want to be together in the future and Jack still wants his job.

It will be hard also for the reader to see them separate but I hope they can at least use cell phones!

BTW, who the hell was this Rich who caused so many troubles and pain to our beloved boys?!

I guess this is the time that Ennis has to learn to do
the right thing. If he can do it for Jack, he can do it for the both of them. Jack knew he should not have given in to the feelings he had for Ennis. That is like a rule with no
leeway in a place like that. But you know I felt sorry for the doctor. He would lose everything he has worked so long and hard for, because of this whole thing. Ennis loved Jack, and Jack could not say no to him. Then the doctor is having a very hard time saying no to both of them. It is truly a difficulty of major proportions. Janice

This is not good. Yes Jack made a mistake by taking Ennis with him and yes Jack made a huge mistake by punching that guy and getting them arrested. But Doctor Lambertus should at least understand that Jack has feelings for Ennis-he isn't just using Ennis. I think Ennis might be able to go to Boston and finish his treatment knowing he will go back to Jack, but I don't think Jack will be able to make it. Jack already suffers from depression, just lost his mother and now is losing Ennis.
