This is a wonderful chapter, heartbreaking in the beginning with Ennis being so lost and hurting, missing Jack like part of his soul was gone.All he needed was to see Jack to make him believe in himself, in Jack. There shirt exchange was sweet. How often has a simple used cloth brought comfort to someone holding it close to their heart?
Ennis has the heart of a lion when it comes to Jack and I truly believe he will do anything to stay clean, for Jack, for each other.I'm glad the doctor initiated for Jack to see Ennis. He was able to see Ennis was retreating back into himself. Jack and Ennis needed to see and reassure each other. A small gesture to some, to Ennis and Jack, a life line.
I love this story, thank you for this.

I so sincerely love this story. IT IS SO REAL. I felt so bad for them when Ennis waa just a fetal position and crying for Jack. He was on the edge of giving up to the whole thing. It seemed like he may have just killed himself. It was nearly as bad for Jack. I think that the fact that Jack had been at it a lot longer gave him reason to believe he could make it. I am so glad that the Dr. allowed them to reconnect. It probably saved them. Thank you for this lovely chapter. Janice

Missed this story it has been a couple of weeks. Poor Ennis - knew this would be tough for him, but glad Dr. L allowed them to see each other. Humm wonder what the doc is up too? But I guess he has ennis recovery in mind and knew he was struggling. Maybe the Doc will see what they do for each other too when together. Thanks. Gail
