Hey Loreen, Thank you so much for your comment, friend :) I'm so glad you are still enjoying the story, even though it's not always the easiest of reads. Thanks! Lavender
Perfect. Nothing to add. Description of a miserable Ennis without Jack is perfect. The shirt exchange is perfect. The dialogue bethween them is perfect. Doc is perfect and I can't wait to read about the conversation he had with Jack. This line melted my heart: **I then did something I hadn't done in well over two weeks-I smiled. I confirm: perfect. A big hug Roby
wow. it seems like forever since i last saw an update. i know, i know, it hasn't really been that long, but when you are sitting on the edge of your seat, any wait can be too long

Aw, GR, I'm so glad this chapter moved you. I too thought it was about time these poor, lost souls had some ray of sunshine. Thank you so much for your wonderful, inspiring comment, friend. Lavender
You wrote Ennis's anguish so well it was palpable. His horrendous childhood has made him both too young and too old for his age. I know the time apart has been painful for Jack, too, along with the therapy he's going through, so it was heartening to see them get a bit of a reprieve. The t-shirt exchange was really touching. Jack's words about Ennis being strong and proving himself so that they can be together are the best kind of incentive for Ennis. Great job. Thanks!
Hello, Marie, Yes, it looks like things may be looking up for these two poor souls. Thank you so much for your kind words. It really means a lot to me :) Lavender
Very well written, intense, but comforting chapter. "Ennis, I just want you to know that even when we're apart, I'm always with you, right here". Jack visiting Ennis was just what he needed and coming up with the right words, to reassure him, gave Ennis the determination to carry on his rehabilitation.
