Poor Ennis. You wrote his loneliness and emptiness so well I could hardly stand it. I didn't expect Jack to come and see him but when I read it again it was so right. Dr L really cares for them doesn't he? Wants what's best for both provided they do what's best for them - stay clean.

They will do it for sure with you writing it!

Hey Rose,
Yeah, Doc does have a soft spot for these two guys. Writing Ennis in such a dark place was NOT any easier for me to write as it was for you read-believe me, but I felt that that's how Ennis would have reacted. Things are looking up and yeah, I'm a happy ending girl :)

I'm so glad that Dr. Lambertus let Jack spend time with Ennis and that he realizes that the boys are helping each other have real feelings for each other. Feel bad that Ennis is doing so badly, but hopefully seeing Jack and Jack telling him that they have a better chance of being and working together will give Ennis the push he needs to do better in helping himself.

OMG!!!!! I got behind in LJ due to RL.....sometimes everything sucks.....

But not your chapter...Oooohhhh...It was so HEART-WRENCHING to read. I can't imagine how difficult it must have been to write. But it ended on a promising note........

BUT, again I have to say it was just beautiful, and my chest hurts a little due to being slightly choked up.

Keep up the excellent work, and I hope I catch the next one at the time it is written.
