Such a precious chapter!
I am glad that Ennis wanted to talk with Doc and his reward is great; didn't expect Doc revealing personal things to Ennis. Doc is a good man who made one big mistake and he paid a very high price for it. I like him very much and I love what he does for the guys. I think that asking Ennis to help is such a good move, Doc knows his job, these lines are so true:
**"Ennis, you have to learn to trust me. Trust that I have some sort of clue as to what I'm doing, okay?"**

I loved that Jack went to Ennis as soon he saw him thinking he needed him and not Doc.

There are so many lines that I loved that I would end up quoting the whole chapter, so I'll choose the one bringing so much hope to Ennis and made me very happy:
** I was actually looking forward to a new day.**

I am glad to see that Ennis truly is making some headway. He is
starting to believe that there are people that he can believe in. Of
course Jack first and foremost, but now the Doc too.
I liked that he had accepted the fact that he needs to get some
nutrition also. He honestly looked at himself truthfully, and saw that he was way too thin. You are giving such a great story, all the characters are well rounded. I feel so bad for the Doctor..Janice

I am so happy that things are going forward a lot more smoothly for Ennis and Jack. I'm glad that Ennis went to see the Doc and opened up to him - he really is coming on in leaps and bounds. He is learning to trust people again and I think that helping with the newbies is a brilliant idea of Doc's. To immerse himself in helping others will help with his anxiety problems and be good for his own self esteem. It could even lead to a job at the Institution!

Love Jack's caring nature and Dr Lambertus's understanding. What a great chapter.

Fabulous chapter - so good to see Ennis taking little steps ahead - going to see Dr. Lambertus was a tremendous jump ahead. I like how the good Doc easily talked to Ennis, showing him where his anxiety was born from - as well as the fact that he hadn't really been hiding it the way he thought he was.

Good insight from the Doc, too, about his past. I'm glad he shared that with Ennis.

and of course the ending to this chapter is fabulous. I love the image of the boys falling asleep in each other's arms.
