I mean, I LOVE the idea our boys working side-by-side helping other patients, but is it truly possible in real life?

Conselor-patient relationship is forbidden in these facilities, for good reasons. If the good Doc made an exception for them, what will others think? If Jack could do it then how about other counselors? If this rule could be broken how about others? I am afraid this is a Pandora's box that the good Doc could NOT afford to open. I hate to sound so pathetic, but I truly question if this is possible.

Still, wonderful story.

It is always a bit sad to say goodbye to Ennis and Jack but such a great accomplishment when a writer finishes a story. The demands and challenges of RL are such obstacles sometimes.

My hat is off to you for delivering this happy ending-those boys sure deserve it.

Congratulations, Lavender! Your Jack and Ennis are such an endearing couple and I've enjoyed your story very much. It's gritty but at the same time there is a gentle quality to it, I think because you never let us forget that it's a love story first and foremost. I'm so happy for Ennis and Jack and for Dr. Lambertus, too. All three of them have helped each other conquer the demons of their past, forgive themselves, and move forward. They're all angels :) You're a wonderful writer and I appreciate that you stuck with the story. Thanks so much!

Good to see you back - I think!

Friday night,freshly showered,dressed,make up etc,drinks with a couple of friends shortly....then I read this - I know look like I am wearing Hallow'een make up - my mascara has run all down my face and splodged so now I have to start again....but was it worth?...Certainly was!!

I loved the ending to this story - I am sure you have been super busy lately - so a heartfelt thank you.
