I should be in Virginia by now, on my way to Florida. Instead I am on my sofa, tapping away on this computer. It does look like the cloud cover and rain is starting to roll off, so I'll be on the road in a half-hour or so.

A few days of deep, intense sleep.
I remember when I was a child, maybe three, I looked up to the kithchen counter and saw the edge of a box hanging off the countertop. Within the box was scratching noises, and i didn't much like it. I commute to work each day, so that's 15.94 miles of Kelly Dr. along the Schulkill (sp? no-one here knows how to spell that damn thing) River, and our parks system allows for bicycling to just about anywhere. The upshot of all this is it's easy to burn calories, which is good because I have been consuming them

Cancelled all plans for the day. Made and drank lots of black coffee. Dozed in and out for most of the day. Accomplished nothing, so i accomplished my goal of not doing anything but rest. Weird. As for trying to live the normal life, yeah, that's hard. I try every now and again, but not really. It would help if i had a true reference point for what normal is. I hope you find some happiness, or at least a sense of balance and contentment.

I long for the creation of a new language. I need a new alphabet.. A new Alpha Beta. I need words that have not been manipulated into meaninglessness and ambiguity. I need words that have power once again, words that mean something. Words of worth ( Read more... )
