ok, I am enetering a bicycle race for Sept 9, the univest Grand Prix. I rode the couse on Monday, and it has a total of 6,000 feet of climbing over a course of 60 miles. That's fun, because there a re a lot of downhills to offset that, and there are a lot of tiny houses nestled into the hillsides. I love tiny houses. When I was a kid I wanted to ( Read more... )

Still alive and doing fine. Just been busy. I dropped in and hung with my first paceline today - rode around 28.5 mph for 21 miles around the drives, and was so elated that I could hang with the racer crowd that as I rode home I forget I was clipped-in and simply fell over when I came to a traffic light. So I have been in Philly again for two weeks and I had to escape already. Off I go to Long Beach Island for some surf, sand, and sun. It was overcast with sprinkles yesterday, and was purrrrrfect today. So I swim a lot, lay out in the sun, rent a bicycle and ride all over the island. Good times ( Read more... )
