Thyroid has been removed and I'm recovering well. :) Only had to spend one night at the hospital, which is always a plus. I can't even describe all the flowers I have... my house looks like a flower shop, it's so pretty! <3

FINALLY the damn elections are over. Seriously, I don't think anything makes me dislike a candidate more then when they're campaigning for Presidency. -_-

So I randomly decided to submit a short story of mine (formerly a fanfic) for publication...

.... And it got accepted.

Was not expecting it at all.
Feels pretty good. :D

Maybe I won't rule out a writing career just yet!

Don't really know where this came from or where I want to go with it. I blame The New Normal for the idea getting lodged in my head, but yeah. Just sat down one night, turned on some Mumford & Sons, and started writing this... I just love the idea of Lulu and Suza having a family, I think it's just the cutest thing. ^^

Still getting used to living on my own. It feels... weird. o_o It's way too quiet without my big loud Italian family around, I'm not sure I like it. But the city is sooooo pretty. I wish I could just magically transport my family here, then it would be perfect.
