Damnit! I'm starting to suffer from sleep apnea. Which is the fancy term for having problems breathing when you're asleep so that you wake up to catch a breath. It's all because of my weak diaphragm muscles that struggle to operate when I'm lying on my back. My Mam is great but she can't leave things alone. She moved my arm support thingy and now I'm back to struggling with the mouse again. We can't seem to get it back to the way it was. Grr! -

I've lost another 10 pounds since the end of November. That's weight I'm on about. The combination of my low-fat diet and als muscle wastage being the cause. Hopefully more the former than the latter. So, anyway, the dietitian has give up trying to get me to eat more good fat. Instead I'm going to try these high-carb supplements. For some reason I'm well set up today. I've been very much struggling with my mousing and it's getting to be a real struggle to achieve the simplest tasks on my computer. I'm getting very envious of people eating food that I can't because of the inevitable pain induced. Although I suppose I could just say bollocks to it, enjoy the food and suffer the consequences. Fantastic football goodness this week! From deflation, after Birmingham equalised in the last minute on Tuesday, to elation, at Sunderland's similarly late winner against Derby yesterday. Awesome! Dad has the most irritating habit of constantly making predictions and he has the most amazing record of failure. Even the most obvious ones sometimes turn round and bite him on the arse. Today with Celtic 1-0 down and less than 3 minutes to go he says: "I can't see Celtic winning it now". Sure enough Celtic promptly equalise and then get a winner ( Read more... ) -

Apparently kiwi fruit makes you poo. By which I mean eating it of course -- you could try stroking it gently with a finger (it feels nice!) but I think that's more likely to get you strange looks from your mother.
