Inspired by zodiacs_cat and her amazing new physique come monday I am going to start the slim fast diet! I am officially the heaviest I have ever been and really not happy about it! So fingers crossed I will soon be slimmer! Wish me luck with my will power its that which means I usually give up!

I have always given up on diets and exercise plans in the past, too, but I found that when I lost the weight that was motivation enough to stay with Slimfast. Be warned, though, the first two days or so may be quite tough - I was really hungry but it passed, and I knew then I was determined to keep it up. Also, look for the American Slim-fast site, rather than the UK one, because the US one gives a more detailed breakdown of how many calories you should aim to eat per day based on how much you weigh now and how much you want to lose :) I've been impressed by how easy the whole thing is, to be honest, and I no longer worry that if I put weight on in the future that I'll never be able to lose it again.
Top tip: find some snacks you like that are about 80-120 cals and have one of those mid-morning and another mid-afternoon :) One thing I like about Slimfast is that you can eat what you want, within reason and calorie limits!
