I had an excellent weekend that I really hope to repeat soon. This week is off to a great start.

Anyone want a few dozen cookies? My kitchen is a little full at the moment.

There is no way it's normal for a mother to try and ground her grown son. I think it's a good thing I am not going home for Christmas. Of course that is what set her off in the first place.

Halloween was definitely an experience. A good one I think. Now if I could just could just think up a way to tell my mother I will not be home for Thanksgiving.

The weather is starting to change and it's making for a very cranky lawyer. Woke up with my shoulder killing me again this morning.

I have to figure out how to tell my mother that calling every morning at 5 am is not the best way to get a hold of me. So far politely asking is not getting me anywhere. I love my mother but that is too early.

Still enjoying the Super Bowl celebrations. Almost wish I could have been home for it.

I think my mother is trying to tempt me home. I just got a box full of different kinds of cookies from her.

So far it's been a learning experience but I think I'm getting the hang of things now. Hopefully it will only get better. One thing I do like is a challenge. I should probably try and get out and meet some of my new coworkers but I haven't tried to yet.
