Well, we did it! We made an offer on a house while I was home for my quick visit over Memorial Day weekend. I didn't intend for that to happen, but it did and I'm really excited! We had originally planned to look at some houses and get an idea of different areas we might like to live in. We ended up falling in love with one particular neighborhood

Karen, I am thrilled for you. Boy, when you guys decide - YOU DECIDE!!

I will miss you living in California - but now you can settle down and start your real life together.

I am still not clear on which job you are taking - but I know that it all seems to be falling into place nicely.

Thanks Gini! I'm going to miss CA very much. This was a really hard decision, but we figured we really do need to start our lives together instead of this limbo situation we've been living in. I still have yet to bring this up with my current company. I am going to try and see if I can take my current job with me and if not, if I could transition it slowly over the next 3 months or so. That would really help us. If they still say no, at least I'll be able to interview actively in Indiana if I'm living there. :-)

I certainly will! We might be celebrating our first anniversary in our new home which will be pretty cool too!

Yes, that's true! We'll have to see how we can add value to the home and enjoy it before we decide to sell. I don't plan on that being for a very long time though because moving sucks! LOL
