Wishing all my friends and family a Happy St. Patrick's Day! We'll be having our annual St. Patty's gathering at mom and dad's on Saturday to watch Quiet Man and eat Shepherd's Pie. Yum! Looking forward to it (and to Spring and flowers in bloom!).

It's simply amazing (and not in a good way) to me how hateful people can be. I can't imagine what it must be like to feel so bitter and spiteful to everyone - particularly when you can be "hidden" behind the face of the internet. I have officially started taking synthroid for my thyroid condition today. It will be interesting to see if there is any change over the next few months in terms of my feeling less fatigued and perhaps ability to lose weight.
