Well, it's December 2009 and Sreedhar and I are in our new home! It's been fun settling into our new space and decorating for the holidays. Fall has always been my favorite time of year - there's just a certain feeling in the air. I love the changing colors of the trees and the smell of the first fires lighting up on the first chilly nights of fall. It's been 10 years since I lived in Indiana, and it's still as amazing as I remembered.

I'm sure it will mean I have to work extra hard or for more hours to prove I'm not just jacking around, but I'm ok with that. Well, we did it! We made an offer on a house while I was home for my quick visit over Memorial Day weekend. I didn't intend for that to happen, but it did and I'm really excited! I'm seriously shocked right now. I just got a call from my boss and he said that he was let go. I was actually speechless, which is a rare ocurrance for those who know me.
