I was hoping we appeased Murphy's law when my mom got sick and couldn't decorate my wedding cake. Wow, due to incomplete information, I found out I'm not down one groomsman. That's nice.

Less than two weeks 'til my wedding now. That's kind of scary. And another groomsman backed out. Two weeks before the wedding, no explanation and no apology, he just says he can't do it. I had a sudden odd desire to make bread and butter pudding, without any idea really what it is. So I looked it up, and as far as I can figure, it's the same thing as bread pudding except you butter the bread first. I wonder if that makes a significant difference. Anyone know about the difference between them?

I wonder if in real life people ever argue about who gets to be the one to sacrifice themselves to save everyone or everything or the Earth or the Universe or whatever like what happens all the time in books or tv or movies.
