You're not losing me altogether ... I'll still be around ... Just not in this guise and not so often

I'm intending to go back to my old ways of being constantly out-and-about, actually seeing people, talking to them in person (face-to-face or on the phone [1]) or communicating by email when it's more appropriate to do so that way

[1] MSN is an acceptable alternative to the phone, I guess ... but I won't be on there as often as I have been been either, since I don't intend to be at home as much

And I'm not going for good ... I'll look in on you all from time to time, for the purposes of checking who's doing what, where, when, why, how (and, no doubt, occasionally even to whom) - I just won't be posting ... or even commenting much

I wasn't gonna post any more after the last one ... But then I saw this (on markeris LJ) and I thought of you ... It seemed kinda appropriate to finish up with that image for a number of personal and xtrapol8ral reasons (that I'm sure you don't need me to elaborate upon)- As I said, a final fond farewell to you all before I reclaim my life, the clubs, the pubs, the parties, the streets, the squats, the skips and any conveniently proximate riots

I can understand why you want to quit LJ. I'm basically doing the same thing. I'm saving all rants for a site that dave_the_great will hopefully get off his ass and finish. In the meantime it'll just be a bunch of AIM convos with people who decided after four months to ask me on AIM why I added them. LJ is a cesspool of all the cultural filth in this world. I came here knowing and expecting that. Nothing is as bad as my old AOL chatroom days. The horror.
