I just found a cast iron Le Creuset casserole dish in 'granite', complete with lid, in Oxfam for £34.99.  I deliberated over it for a few minutes, then decided that I had to have it.  I managed to leave the matching saucepan behind though, although it was hard.  I couldn't justify spending another £25 on it when money is tight.  Still, getting the ( Read more... )

Aunt Flo has just arrived for her monthly visit, which means by Saturday I should be in horrible pain and wanting nothing more than to stay in bed, eat chocolate and bitch about the world.  Oh well, whatever doesn't kill me etc

Why couldn't it have waited until Monday?  Or even Sunday afternoon?!  GAH!!
