well aren't we mighty self-involved?obscuredMay 30 2003, 04:40:03 UTC
it's a friggin livejournal, man. chill. when all is said and done, does it really matter who comments or reads? it's all in the name of narcissism anyway.

depth has absolutely nothing to do with it. put all the quotation marks around it that you want, but it's true.
it's just the whole idea of making people ask to be a part of something that is already incredibly public and self-aware. it shouldn't matter if you have 5 or 500 on your friends list, or if you get 1 or 1000 comments. keep me on, take me off, it's all the same, it's all your decision, it shouldn't affect your writing.

of course i want you on.
but what i'm trying to say is that no matter who is on my friends list, it won't affect my writing. but i do feel like i'm neglecting to read friends' journal entries when i have fourty to read everyday.
this way i think it out, and i can pay more attention to people like you :D

i took you off just to get you pissed.
i would have ended up putting you back on, just because you finally started writing more in your journal.
i was just curious if you'd comment :D
you're back.

the whole idea behind this was to let people get out of reading my journal without any hard feelings.
i (had) seventy people on my friends list. needed to clear it out a bit, and this was the best way to do it.
and yes, it's still all in the name of narcissism.
i'm not as "deep" as you are, so i wasn't sure if you wanted to stay on.
but i'll consider this your comment.
so you're back.
