i made that call too... and it was a relief.
i feel like you are channeling julie right now, we are oddly in the same place and i didnt even know.
i went to the doctor last week and one of the things he said was that taking initiative to do something about a problem is often the biggest relief, and then he told me i have a problem with holding things in, haha. weird, i know. I didnt tell anyone anything personal for a really really long time, i was completely introverted for months, and then i broke down. and when i did, and it felt like the biggest weight lifted i could ever imagine. I still havent been really open, but it is comming slowly, and im getting better. i am finally happy.

im sorry i didnt talk to you much over thanksgiving, i wasnt doing too well then, but i cant wait till christmas!!!!!

first of all, i love that you're listening to cat stevens...is it wrong that i have "the very best of cat stevens" in my car stereo like 80% of the time i'm driving?!

just wanted to say .. you said that there are some people in the world who aren't making a dent - just the people that are easygoing and patient and good listeners, but in my opinion, those are some of the people who make the biggest dents in this world. where would anyone be without someone to listen to them? no worries, i think you've already made a dent :)

it was good to see you over thanksgiving, actually i didn't see you enough..UD keeps you guys so long! we'll get to hang out more over winter break hopefully, the LSC is being kind of weird lately- as i think we've all noticed, but i miss you and oh, i'm rigging it this year so that you get me for secret santa because i REALLY want something homemade (and probably baked haha).
