I am so saddened by Steve Irwin dying. My brother and I have always loved him, and one of Nick and I's dreams was to go to Australia Zoo. We still can of course, but it won't be the same. To be killed by a sting ray too, that's what seems so stupid. He worked with so many deadly animals, and was killed by an animal that I myself have touched ( Read more... )

So I passed my stress test echocardiogram with flying colors. Not only did I pass but I got an "excellent" rating on my heart. I guess all that cardio at the gym pays off. Of course, I was still getting over the flu and they half killed me by making me run, and then sprint. I did get to see an image of my heart though. I got to see it at rest ( Read more... )

There's something distinctly depressing about getting a call at midnight from your loved one, letting you know he just left work and will be home in an hour. What's wrong with these stupid game companies? As if mandatory 12 hour days for 5 months isn't bad enough they stretch it to 14 hours? And he'll still have to go in on the weekend?
