Why my son gives me gray hair
I felt well enough to go out yesterday. So we ran over to the health food store to get some provisions. While checking out, I let the kids pick out a "naturally sweetened" soda. PSA on puppies
I do have some good news to report, though it is tempered with bad. Do you guys remember the little dogs we rescued and one of them was preggers? Well, she had her puppies, of course. In July, she delivered 3 babies. The first did not survive past five minutes. She was malformed and clearly was not able to get what she needed in the overstuffed ( Read more... ) -
Me, in the woe
When my thyroid was taken out a couple weeks ago, the pathology report showed that it was cancer. In preparation for possible further treatment, I have to not take my synthetic thyroid meds. This means I get to look forward to fatigue, gaining weight, dry skin, cold intolerance, depression, oh, and baldness, along with other myriad symptoms. So, if ( Read more... ) -

I know I am a wicked woman, because this is probably supposed to point out how silly posing women in photographs is/was. But all I can think is 1) How adorbs! and 2) Aren't they a tad too covered up? No matter, I'd still pin 'em to my work station and leer at them with the other gals.
