I was sad that we did not get to go snow tubing this weekend.  Ironically, it got snowed out!  It actually was not bad with the snow where we were, only getting about 3 inches.  However, the Poconos got over a foot so not sure how safe it would have been getting to the mountain.  Just thinking about those roads being icy in the mountains was a ( Read more... )

Anyone else read Neil Gaiman's blog?  He is the author of Stardust, Good Omens and Coraline.  I have been reading his blog for years and just love him.  The other day I read his blog about his dog passing away and it had me in tears.  He was a big, White German Shephard named Cabal.  It is always hard to lose a pet.  I always loved his posts about ( Read more... )

Had a nice weekend despite the weather being crappy.  We spent Saturday at the Pennsylvania Farm show in Harrisburg.  Only about 2 hours away so not a bad ride.  We went to represent the Bucks County Animal Response Team, which I volunteer for (we help animals with shelter in an emergency situation).  Got to see all the great animals, goats, sheep ( Read more... )
