I know I have been MIA lately. For some strange reason, I have become extremely obsessed with The Walking Dead. Mostly Daryl/Carol but just the whole show in general also. I loved it, Robin...heartbreaking, the way you described his pain, very true to character in terms of his hostile reactions. I have wondered how he felt about T-Dog's death but I think you're right...Daryl doesn't have a lot of illusions about the man his brother is. I am curious to see what they do with that relationship in the first show of the second half of the season. I think that despite being a bigoted ass, Merle would be more than willing to die to save his baby brother.

Hope you write more, I enjoy well-written fic :)

I have to say that I love the "nine lives" line in your story. It ties in so well with the show because it makes it seem like they had already talked about that when she says "Nine live, remember?" Perfect!

Oh, I am dying having to wait until Feb to find out what happens with Daryl and Merle. Originally, in my mind I had Merle as the total bad guy who would side with the Governor against his brother. However, when the Governor disarms him and pulls the hood of Daryl's head, the look on his face made me rethink. Merle is a horrible person but I think he might have some goodness left in him with regards to his brother. I changed my whole mind and think he will sacrifice himself to save Daryl. I hope that does not make Daryl withdraw from the group.

I am about to write a whole thing about my feelings for Carol in the TV show versus Carol in the comic. Love to get your feed back so check back on this journal soon.
