I don't think it's anything as concrete as that. For example. I just made myself a nice pot of tea. I set it down on the floor, to brew instead of on the coffee table for no discernable reason, and then flopped down on the couch. As I was reading your last post, I proceeded to move my foot onto the cast iron teapot, and instead of moving it right off, I kept it there for a minute while I tried to figure out why the floor was so hot.
For it to be a diagnosable disorder, I'd need something with the following symptoms:
General clumsiness General lack of motivation Headaches (1-2 a month, sometimes less, rarely more) Allergies to dust, pollen, humidity, chemical scents (perfume, cleaning supplies, etc) and shifts in barometric pressure Sensitivity to being too warm Occasional lightheadedness or dizziness, usually in connection with allergies, but not always, which enhances the propensity toward clumsiness Overactive brain Negative self-talk Totally random, but very specific muscular discomfort (like getting a muscle knot in just
( ... )
Nerve pain or muscle pain in the jaw? I'm assuming muscle, but if it's nerve pain you need to go get it checked out as soon as you can. Have you tried acupuncture? Maybe google "community acupuncture" in your area? It can really help with stuff like that, and I'm thinking you still live in NY state, which means there should be plenty of options. :) *hugs* Sending you some good vibes.
<3 Thanks hun!! It was definitely muscular. Masseter for sure and possibly one of the pterygoids, cuz I was having trouble opening my jaw all the way, it hurt like hell to bite down, and it was slightly misaligned horizontally. I did a LOT of self-massage in conjunction with everything else I was trying. It didn't help right away, but little by little I think I worked it out. It's almost completely gone right now. I just have to concentrate to chew but the pain has pretty much dissipated, thank god.
The jaw pain interrupted my sleep that one night, but it was the headache that was really killing me yesterday. I can never really work on my own neck muscles unless it's in the front. I wish sometimes that I could duplicate myself for an hour at a time to give myself a massage.
What area of your head is the headache located in? What kind of pain is it? (stabbing? dull? heavy? fixed? moving?) Maybe I can give u some acupressure suggestions...
