Back from AZ!

Last week I was in AZ visiting blenderfish's parents. We spent a few days with them in their 10,000 unit community swimming in the beach walk-in swimming pool, threading speaker wires through the entertainment center, visiting Taliesin West, drinking margaritas. The community was kinda surreal, 10,000 homes but only 11 different models all painted one of 10

Dude! Oo-ah Point! Cedar Ridge! That's the same hike my mom and I took when we were there back in May.

Wasn't the Grand Canyon so much cooler than you thought it'd be before you went? That was certainly how I felt.

I'm also a total sucker for Frank Lloyd Wright houses, so I'm jealous you got to Taliesin West. Seeing Fallingwater in PA was really amazing, and I'd love to visit some of his other houses.

Oh my god... yes! The Grand Canyon was way cooler and so much more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. Jon and I are already planning on going back next year to do the mule ride down to the bottom!

Taliesin was very cool. Unfortunately, our tour guide was a bit of a dolt (you can't just wander around as it is still a working school and architectural agency). But oh man was it cool.

Ohhhhh, now I want to go to the Grand Canyon!!! Those pictures are beautiful!
I also now want a drink. Because I saw your drinks. And sometimes being at work makes me want to drink. Yea.

My favorite part, though, was that when you got to the end of the Arizona pics, there were several pages of YARN PORN!!
