This is so true and oh-so-canon. (Not that I've got any right to use the word 'canon' after this fic. So OoC it hurts.) I love the Roddenberry quotes where he talks about Kirk and Spock as two halves that come together like puzzle pieces.
They really are a perfect match. :) I think it's what appeals to me the most about the ship!
I like the way you've finished this, and I loled at “If your intended question was what brought me to the supermarket, Kingly, then I must conclude that your powers of observation leave much to be desired.”
You should definitely do some spockpov, you're pretty good at his dialogue :)
I just changed it around a little to make it sound more frigid. :P Spock PoV would kill me slowly. I'VE GOT NO IDEA WHAT'S GOING ON IT THAT GUY'S HEAD.
Ok so I was the OP at the meme and I must say that I totally loved it!!!! I'm not very good at writing out reviews of stories, but I have to say that that made me smile. I love their inside jokes and hobbies. So sweet.
It didn't the pure!domestic flavour I think you were after because I was really struggling to write domestic!Spock. Ah well, I'm really glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for such a magnificent prompt!

I guiltily admit to also using that plot device. But it's so convenient.
