After days of searching, finally found a nice pond with a bunch of wood frogs in it. These ones were nice enough not to shut up as soon as I approached, so I could actually spot and photograph them. They looked quite ridiculous with their giant inflatable croak-bags.

Today there was a little tiny vole in the front entrance where I get my newspaper. I saw a brown blur out of the corner of my eye, turned and spotted this cutsey little furry ovoid that would fit in the palm of my hand. A feature about a guy who's so philanthropic he practically glows with goodness. Seriously. He's got like 27,000 foster kids and builds orphanages and stuff. One of those enlightened entrepreneur types. The AK-47 and the grinning alligators were just bonuses.

Two dragonflies decided to troll me today when I was taking pictures of them by landing on my shoulders. Big blue ones. Boo.

Also lost my watch. Suspect dragonflies took it.

Dragonfly landed on my hat today. Whee.

Also, I went on a trip to Port Rupert. There were bears. They were dumb. They ate grass and stuff. Also, eagles.
