On my way home from work today, Vitamin C's Graduation Song came on to my iPod and, for possibly the first time, I really heard the lyrics. I guess this whole theme of new beginnings will once again make it into my blog here, but it really just is on my mind I guess. The Holiday of Reflection
One of the reasons I love Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, is for its call for reflection. I consider myself a reflective person, but lately I have not been in a reflective mood. So I am happy for this reminder to take the time to look at my life, particularly in the last year, and consider how I would like to move forward from here ( Read more... ) -

i keep doing this thing where i think that i've scrolled all the way down on my unofficial transcript to see this semester's grades but actually i'm a year or so behind. and i get all excited because the grade i'm waiting for, for a class that nearly killed me this semester, is suddenly an A! a bit of an update
well, i've been home for almost a week now. it's been relaxing, for the most part, although i'm still not really able to sleep in as much as i'd like. every day pretty much i wake up really early (sometimes meaning 9 or 10, sometimes more like 7) but oftentimes i'm able to get back to bed for a few more hours ( Read more... ) -
Possible things to do to procrastinate
1. play games online (ex: boomshine, text twist, jigsaw puzzles)
2. take stupid online quizzes (ex: which romantic comedy hottie would be your boyfriend?, what does your birth month say about you?, which character from mean girls are you?)
3. watch tv shows online, or tv show bloopers
4. create a new schedule and color code
5. write thank you cards -
