I hate when vegetarians get high and mighty, it's the freaking food chain. What really makes me angry is the "raw" diet. I mean not eating things cooked above a certain temperature? Come on!
I have been watching moby pontificate entirely too much on E! Entertainment Network.
that's crap. i'm vegetarian but i think that people who kill their own food are awesome. you don't get some gross meat that has been fed antibiotics and kept in a pen on a factory farm its whole life, and then processed at a disgusting slaughterhouse. also, i saw the video message on cc's phone about the bucks hehe.
I tried venison as kid a few times. It was a little sweet, I never liked it much. But I was a picky kid. I didn't even like fish.
I don't eat meat because we are so removed from the entire process of hunting and slaughter. I can respect people who hunt especially those that do it honorably and naturally and completely exhaust the resources game provides. If the day came when I could verify whatever meat I was eating wasn't raised in stressful environments or pumped full of growth chemicals I'd gladly take up enjoying bacon again. But with America's water as dirty as it is, imagine then what they let slide in our hamburgers.
Not all vegetarians are crackpot snobs, thankfully.

I was more speaking towards those meat-eaters who think wild game is gross.
