Saw it going around in email about a week ago and had a good laugh.
Now, I'm a little sad that it's hit the mainstream and wonder if it's a ploy to show how hip'n'Alternative Chapel Street is (honest, guys, we didn't sell-out and lose our soul years ago), just in time for their festival.

Agreed...the timing and speed of it reaching mainstream media are questionable.
It might simply be one person having a joke...and if it is, then good on 'em! But, splashing it all over the media is sure to kill it / change the tone.
