I told my boss at the beginning of the series that I wanted it to go four games, either way (preferrably to the Red Sox, of course). Just none of this drawn-out, seven-game, extra-inning agony. Shows what I get.
Oh things are great with me, how could they not be??? Are you still at the same e-mail? I'd like to send you my dissertation idea to see what you think...
I feel so bad for flirting with nonbelief before, after game 3....What an incredible series!
The entire city of Boston is just nuts right now. I couldn't even track down a copy of the Globe this morning, and people are already packing into the bars to settle in for the duration. It's all anyone's talking about. Nothing like a whole city of the faithful. :)
Here's to hoping!leafofgrassOctober 21 2004, 01:08:01 UTC
Sometimes things just go right, and this is the first year where I think the team had a real winner's attitude. That, of course, is why they were able to turn it around, like a juggernaught gaining speed...

Oh, Jamie, I only wish I were in Boston right now, or even at home in RI! Noone here really understands what it is to BE a Sox fan...
