There is a family of pheasants living under the pine tree in our backyard. Super cute!

Two months ago today we received our "invitation" to participate in Credentialing of our agency with the State. Invitation my butt! If we didn't do it, HighRoad would be shut down, but anyway... Robert won Employee of the Year!!! I'm so proud of him. He busted his butt this past year. Totally deserves it.

I got the newsletter from the homeless pregnant women's halfway house that I've donated to and found out that they have a Tree of Sharing at St. Thomas church. So Robert and I ran down there today at lunch to pick something to donate. I will remember this moment. The moment that I have been the proudest to call myself an American, and a democrat. I never thought in my lifetime that I would ever see a black president. Sometimes being married to someone who gets along so well with all of their family is really difficult to cope with.
