I have a worry that I will die and not have made a difference really at all. I'm sure I've shared this with you before. That I will decide it is most practical to become a business major and become successful and hold a good position in one of the large corperations that is ruining our economy and then find a fairly wealthy and still charming husband to raise kids with in a suburban area and feel good about ourselves because we recycle plastic bottles.
I probably just offended half the people in Medway. Sorry.
this makes me laugh because it's so true. we should all just be hippies.
Hmm. I will just say that it's very hard to waste money on college if you have half a brain and the willingness to use it on a career that requires college. If you take a year off to do Peace Corps, I'm for it. BUT they may be able to use you more effectively if you have a degree specializing in something. You'll also be more likely to be accepted as a college grad in any of the fields they need help in (languages, agro & nat. resources, poli sci, teaching, medicine, most everything can be useful) - however, either way you'll be making a difference and finding direction and learning a lot

Don't feel like a broken record. I can think of three people off the top of my head who have the power to invade my head so loudly with their hate that I can't always hear the knock at my door from somebody leaving me flowers. But it's always nice to open that door and see flowers

Thanks. Everytime I freak out over whether or not I really want to major in business, I go online and look up all the possibilities. Last night I was reminded of working for a nonprofit and now I feel good again. =).
Plus, I've never been the type of person to fence myself in. I've never had one set group of friends, liked one single music genre, etc. I know choosing a major won't send me reeling on a track I can't adjust the direction of. I'm always dabbling in everything, and I usually love it all.
I'll be okay. And so will you! The plans you were describing are impressive.
"no, its fine i drive a hybrid. i mean, a lot of people ignore the energy and environmental crisis but like, i do what i can"
don't ever think you would amount to something vague or comfortable or middle-class respectable. you have too much potential sloshing around in your spine! i know i know.
whatever you do it'll be something that i'll sit in awe of, you knooow that.
